10 seasons later, “Modern Family” is a show that kept us laughing over and over again. When it aired its pilot in 2009, we were immediately introduced to a large family dynamic, one made up of three individual families that are all trying to raise children and live life the best way possible.

Created by Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, the show’s cast includes Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. How Many Acres is a Football Field?

High school, college and NFL football fields are the same size. A standard football field is 120 yards long. The playing field is 100 yards (300 feet) long, and each end zone is 10 yards (30 feet) deep. The field has a uniform width of 53 1/3 yards (160 feet).

If you calculate the entire area of a football field, including the end zones, it works out to 57,600 square feet (360 x 160). One acre equals 43,560 square feet, so a football field is about 1.32 acres in size.

What are The Numbers and Lines on the Field?

The field is marked with a yard line every 5 yards, and every 10 yards is marked by a field number. Each half of the field has a numbered 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-yard line, and a numbered 50-yard line splits the field evenly in the middle.

There are also the hash marks, those shorter lines that run between the 5-yard lines the whole length of the field. The hash marks are one yard apart. The primary difference between high school, college and NFL fields is the distance between the two lines of hash marks. Here’s how much space is between the lines of hash marks at each level:

High School – 53 feet, 4 inches

College – 40 feet

NFL – 18 feet, 6 inches

All plays begin on or between the hash marks, depending on where the previous play ended. For example, if the previous play ended along the right sideline, the ball will be placed on a right hash mark. This is done so teams don’t have to run plays while extremely close to one sideline, which could provide an additional advantage to the defense.

How Big are The Goalposts?

The football goal crossbar is 10 feet high, and each side post is an additional 20 feet high, making the entire structure 30 feet high. High school goal posts are 23 feet, and 4 inches wide. NCAA and NFL goal posts are 18 feet, and 6 inches wide. At the NFL level, the width of the goal posts matches the width of the hashmarks.

It’s never good when your favourite show gets cancelled and Netflix has a growing reputation for being trigger-happy in axing shows. 2022 has seen several high-profile cancellations at Netflix, and we’re here to list them all as of August 2022.

The numbers actually show that Netflix isn’t as cancellation happy as some would allude to. In fact, they’re in line with many of their competitors.

2021 was a big year for Netflix cancellations, with titles like Jupiter’s Legacy, Cursed, and Dash & Lily all getting cancelled.
